Mrs. Yvette UMURUNGI
Chief Executive Officer
Mrs. Yvette Umurungi is the Chief Executive Officer of YVE Consultancy Rwanda Ltd. Holding an MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Resource Management, she brings nine years of experience in team management and leadership on various projects related to environmental assessments, Environmental and Social Governance, biodiversity, ecology, and natural resource management. As a member and Lead Expert at the Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP), she has extensive expertise in sustainability, including Green Building and Net-Zero principles, as well as projects focused on Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE). She also serves as a guest Assistant Lecturer in Biology at the University of Tourism, Technology, and Business Studies (UTB).
Mr. Yves Dukuze Kayihura
Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Yves Dukuze Kayihura is the Chief Finance Officer of YVE Consultancy Rwanda Ltd. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Administration. With seven years of experience, he has been involved in managing various environmental investment projects, bringing expertise in financial management and administration to support sustainable development initiatives.
Dr. Benjamin Manirakiza
Environmental and Waste Management Expert
Dr. Benjamin Manirakiza holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Hohai University (HHU) in China and an M.Sc. in Environmental Biotechnology from Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU) in Russia. He is an accomplished researcher with over 15 peer-reviewed articles, including four focused on wastewater pollution and management in Rwanda. His expertise encompasses Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental planning, and waste management. Dr. Manirakiza is actively involved in public outreach and has been a speaker at numerous local and international conferences. His current major project examines the impact of mining site pollution on downstream rivers in Rwanda. In addition to his research work, he serves as a Lecturer at the College of Science and Technology (CST) and the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK).
Mrs. Beatrice Mukasine
Gender and Social Inclusion Expert
Mrs. Beatrice Mukasine is a Gender and Social Inclusion Expert with over 20 years of experience, holds an MBA (2012) and specializes in gender analysis and mainstreaming. Since 2008, she has been part of Rwanda’s Pool of Gender Experts, trained under a Canadian-funded program. She also holds a certificate in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning from a Netherlands-based organization. Her roles include Gender Advisor, Technical Assistant for Youth and Gender, and Project Manager, contributing to gender mainstreaming and governance initiatives in Rwanda.
Ms. Vestine Ingabire
Junior Environmental and Social Expert
Vestine holds a Master of Science in Environmental and Development Studies, specialized in International Development Studies. She has 6 years of experience implementing environmental, climate change, and socio-economic projects in Rwanda, Kenya, the Maldives, and Germany. Vestine has developed a strong skill set in the field of climate change and conducting research on socio-economic issues and policies related to the environment.
